General

What does [roleplay term] mean/stand for?
RP/RPer/RPing- Roleplay/roleplayer/roleplaying
OOC- Out of character. Usually used to add your own comments on something during an RP. Example: "OOC: The author's thoughts here. IC: Returning to their character"
((Some people like to use the double parenthesis like this to indicate an ooc comment.))
"Out of character" can also refer to a character that is being portrayed incorrectly.
IC- In character
OP- Original poster. The individual who began the thread.
Canon- The original source material, or a character from the games themselves.
OC- Original character. A character of your own creation.
Para- Paragraph/roleplaying in paragraph format.
Headcanon- Someone's personal thoughts or ideas about a canon character that isn't completely confirmed within canon.
AU- Alternate universe

Who is the site leader?
All of the moderators lead Fusion Flare together.
It "technically" would have been Riley, as she is responsible for creating and putting together the site. However, she doesn't wish to be placed in a position above the other staff.

Should my username be the same as my character's?
Your username should be whatever you want everyone else to call you by personally/out of character. You do not need to make it your character's name.

The Main RP and Characters

What do you mean by 'class' in the character bio?
Your character's specialty or title. Could be a plain ol' 'trainer,' or a breeder, coordinator, researcher, student, etc. Feel free to come up with anything that fits your character.

How much should I type for my character bio?
As much as you feel you need to to give us the basics/gist of your character! A paragraph or so for each section will probably cover it.

I can't find my character bio anywhere! What happened?
If your character bio is no longer among either the list of pending applications, or in one of the boards of accepted characters, we have probably moved it to a hidden location for storage. Those who lose reserves or characters due neglect or becoming inactive will have their character bios stored away, but never deleted.
If you are returning to the RP and wish to pick up the character again, please contact a mod to move the bio back into the main area of the site. Keep in mind that if someone else has picked up that canon while you were away, you cannot get them back unless the new member ends up losing them.

Can my OC be a member of any of the Elite Four?
Sorry, but no. At the moment we don't have any "original" regions set up, so since we're going by the canon regions, the canon Elite Four for each region as they are in the game is still in place.
