Personality:

Cocky. Confident. Headstrong. Three of these words seem out of place when discussing a person of Grimsley's stature. He holds a very regal and important air about him, his style of dress and speech being but a few factors. Grimsley prides himself in a good show and, if possible, would very much enjoy going out with a showy "Bang!" if possible.

There's something about uncertainty that fascinates and excites Grimsley. The mere concept of "luck" and how to manipulate it in his favor excites him in his mind. The idea and method of a gamble defines much of his being. Grimsley is, however, very good at keeping his excitement down, able to put on a convincing front needed to keep the opponent from predicting how good or bad his "game" is at the moment. That is among some of Grimsley's strongest aspects; his poker face in dire situations, a failure of expressing distress when he is being backed into a corner, a holding back of overjoyed banter upon finding himself the upper hand in both battle and game.

He fancies himself a socialite. It's not difficult to strike a conversation with Grimsley both off and on the battlefield. Though he will not often discuss tricks of the trade when it comes to "professional gambling", he will very easily talk about any other topic under the sun whether it be completely mundane or something specific.

Backstory:

Grimsley was born into a well-off family as an heir to their fortune. Up until his early teens, he lived a very lavish life. The success of his grandparents and prior gave himself as well as his family the opportunity to live off "old money", the fortune his family inherited since the grandparents' deaths.

Upon adolescence, Grimsley became something of a spendthrift. He's fancied himself an expensive lifestyle as he grew older and upon reaching adulthood when he needed the money the most, he wound up nearly exhausting all his funds before he could properly invest in them. This was around the time
