Appearance:
Dark, what he and everyone but his parents call him, is five feet and seven inches. He weighs about one hundred and twenty-five pounds, give or take. Dark’s hair is a beautiful midnight black, offsetted by his pale white skin. Dark’s hair has a tendency to lose sheen in harsh sunlight, and vice-versa. His eye colour reflects his family’s surname, which is Latin for mud-colouring. His eyes seem to radiate a beautiful brown that captivates people when walking down the street. Dark’s eyes are usually what people notice first, and he often uses that to his advantage. However, if one can look past the radiating glow of his eyes, you could see that there are rings under his eyes and bags.
Dark’s favourite colours are blue and brown. He is always seen with his blue jeans and a light-blue or black hoodie. Always, does he adorn his most sacred item, reaper’s cloth. The cloth is an enigma to most, but a friendly reminder of his first excursion, as Dark calls it. While most people would find the cloth to be a futile item to be holding around, Dark finds that it will be helpful to him. He doesn't know when or how, but He knows it will. Some dark-toned shoes that are durable in any terrain usually are what he likes most. He usually has his bag that his father gave him on his sixteenth birthday. This bag is not meant to go on any travels or expeditions, but it is perfect for it. It has a multitude of pockets and bags to carry all of the essentials. It is a nice gray that seems perfectly fitted just for Dark. Dark also wears a quick claw around his neck.It is not for any Pok?mon to hold, no, but for his own personal memento of what his mother's own Pok?mon used. Headphones, big, metallic-black, and stylish were always around his neck. Dark had many pairs, which were one of his only luxuries that he allowed himself with his family bank account. They were often customized directly for him, and always fashionable with what was the style in Kanto. He loved to listen to them when falling asleep. The sounds could block out everything in the world--just what he loved.
Dark is a generally lonely person, but is widely known throughout Kanto and with people in the medical profession, and even a few place in Hoenn. He seems to keep to himself but is not one to shy away from a challenge. He has a demeanor that makes you want to stay away, but once people start to understand him and his family, they instantly start to love him. Dark uses his reaper’s cloth to cover up a scar on his wrist, which is a beautifully carved crescent shape, given to him by a Pok?mon to whom he got too close.
Personality:
Dark often has two facets of his personality: the one that is apathetic and unemotive (when dealing with his parents) and observant, kind, precocious, and calm (whenever he is alone or in the city). He never lets himself get excited for most things; he’s a bit of a pessimist. Although Dark wants to, he never has been lucky. Dark has been disappointed so many times that he never lets himself get carried away. He never does anything that can get him in trouble or put him in danger, for fear of his parents not letting him out of the house. However, this is in the day. At night, Dark slips out and walks throughout Fuschia city, always close by to his own house. He has problems sleeping and gets nightmares quite often, which contributes to his under-eye rings and bags. Dark doesn’t like to tell people of his nightmares, or much about his personal life, so he lies about it, stating that he has insomnia of some other problem, which his parents always try to fix. Dark loves his parents greatly, but is often at odds with what they believe and what he believes. Dark Doesn't understand why he is kept on such a tight leash. Dark doesn't necessarily want to go out that much, but he wants the choice to. He is the only child, which can get to be lonely, but he has grown to live with it and even embrace his own personal solitude. Dark often finds comfort inside a good book, rereading the novel multiple times over until it starts t fray with wear. He reads fiction, mystery, and adventure novels, which usually are huge books that take forever to read. He also loves to read novels about other regions and greatly wants to visit Hoenn, specifically Mossdeep City, where his father grew up. Dark loves water types, and he is unusually picky with his ground type Pokémon. Aside from his name, he is pretty apathetic towards dark types.
Dark loves reading books, mainly ones he gets from a man who imports them right from the Celadon Dept. store. He also likes watching people in Fuschia city; he likes to watch them just move around and talk to each other and go about on their business. Dark is 16, but did not get one the day after his birthday. His 17th year is now approaching, and he desperately wants to become a trainer.
However, this is not what is to even be considered in , and his parents would probably end up disowning him if he knew. Because of that, Dark has decided to run away. Leaving, not to become a trainer, but a wanderer. Dark is very confused and is not sure if he really just wants to leave his parents, or actually leave his city. Either way, he knows he is unhappy and needs to leave. Whether he becomes a trainer or a drake is somewhere down in the future, but he knows he cannot stay in the past any longer.
Backstory:
Dark, as a newborn, was very precocious. Dark was born in the morning as Lux, in hope of a bright future ahead. Lux often left the house in search of adventures, only to be scolded by his mother, who became increasingly domestic. Lux soon began to feel saddened by his mundane life and became depressed. All throughout his childhood, Lux was an exuberant kid being shot down by his parents. Eventually, he became depressed and even a mute for about a year. One of his personal nannies, however, helped him throughout the years. Telling him stories about his life in Unova and his many adventures. He always told Lux to follow his dreams. When that nanny passed, Lux did not fall into depression; he borne his current Alter, Dark. Dark looked at his family and his ordeal as a system--something he could not beat, but manipulate to keep himself as free as possible. Dark helped Lux's introverted tendencies and did not cause as much of a fuss, or at least make it as apparent to his mother and father.
Sky refuses to call Lux by his nickname. She hates his dark clothing and dark demeanor. Nevertheless, Lux is her pride and joy, and she does everything in her power to protect him. She knows he will leave, not of her own volition, and she will be ready. But then...What about Lux? Even if he does leave, will he be ok? Sky Doesn't have all the answers, but keeps in mind that maybe she will be able to help out Lux if he ever falls into the same situation as her one day.
Pok?mon:
Dark’s starter is a Ralts. This particular Ralts was found right outside of the outskirts of town one night. Dark had a terrible day and needed to get away. Ralts found him and, seeing as Ralts are feeling Pokémon, connected to him emotionally. With Dark so lonely, he welcomed Ralts in with open arms, much to the chagrin of his parents.
Dark was told to get rid of Ralts, but instead found a place for his Ralts to live. He and Ralts became more and more friendly, and when Dark noticed how Ralts was becoming comparatively weaker than most other Pokémon his level, he decided that he should start his journey with Ralts.
Dark was midway between 16 and 17 and wanted to leave. This, however, was close to impossible at the time, so Dark started to train Ralts to be as prepared for when the journey started as possible. Dark, close to the age of 17, had trained Ralts as best he could with Ralts’ only two moves being his Growl and Confusion. Still, Dark and Ralts left off on their journey to become…whatever they wanted! Dark knew of the danger, but with Ralts by his side, he could be anything he wanted!

Backstory:
From the cold depths in society as a poor street urchin, Sky met Aaron. Aaron, an up-and-coming doctor straight from Hoenn, who practiced specialized Pokémon medicine in Unova, was brought to Kanto for residency and possible employment from a huge company located in Fuschia city. Without knowing that the rest of Kanto was like, Aaron fell in love with everything the city had to offer. When he met Sky, however, everything changed. Aaron met her while tending to he only Pokémon, a Delcatty. This Pokémon was unlike anything that could be seen in Fuschia city: it was natural and unchanged. This Pokémon was far weaker than normal Pokémon he had seen. However, it had a power that was amazingly strong and resilient, even when on the verge of fainting. When the surgery was over, Sky and Aaron bonded over her Pok?mon’s unusual perseverance.
Days later, the two were inseparable. It was obvious how in-sync the two were. A few days later, Delcatty passed away. Delcatty was nearing its end, and Sky could not hold onto her much longer. Sky was crushed, and with it being her only Pok?mon, she decided to give up. The ordeal only brought her and Aaron closer together, though. Sky soon moved to Kanto, and began her life with Aaron. Aaron, however, had a few questions about Sky that never got answers.
Sky was beautiful, tall, and effervescent. Sky had the most beautiful blonde hair, which she never kept tied up in a pony tail. Sky's life was spontaneous, but it also had a dark side. She was a dedicated teenager, wanting to be a part of the order. That was her goal in life. She knew very well how to achieve her goal, and spent the night in the wilderness. After getting her egg, a skitty inside, she vowed that she would have only skitty. Her naivete was admired by many, and frowned upon by the rest. She definitely had a great deal of work to do, but was doing fairly well. Sky was always testing herself, trying to push skitty to it's maximum performance. When she felt like skitty was strong enough, she evolved skitty into Delcatty. With this new power, delcatty and Sky destroyed many trainers in Kanto. Sky was always very ostentatious and overzealous. She often tried pushing her luck on much harder foes, taking anyone who would fight her. One night, while visiting a local bar, Sky had been approached by an elderly man. From her own roots, she talked to this man for quite some time, despite his appearance, which most people would be thrown off by and more guarded. The man, though, had a particularly intriguing proposition that piqued Sky's interest. He wanted to battle Sky, and if she won, then he would give her a very valuable prize. The only caveat was that if she was to lose, she must her current town of Lavender town, Forever.
Sky thought this was the weirdest thing she ever heard, and right as she was about to say no, the man showed her the treasure, a bag of vitamins and supplements. "Wh-Where did you get those?" Sky said, as she recalls whenever she closes her eyes. Oddly, everything else after that seems to be a blur until her next vision of Delcatty on the floor, writhing in pain, with a Breloom standing over her. "You push your Pok?mon too far; you don't respect Pok?mon as Pok?mon should be respected. Now stop burdening Kanto with your selfish wants and Leave!" The man shouted. Then a boat appeared a few feet away. Sky got onto the boat and asked for a ride to Fuschia city. The man, weary, took time to convince, but a hysterical woman can convince anyone. They set forth to Fuschia city, and got to the nearest hospital. There, Then, while waiting, Sky saw a doctor looking at her. Not the generally perplexed face that were spread among everyone's face, with the occasional repugnant expression.
Eventually, they married and had Dark, and Sky came to Fuschia city, leaving her Delcatty in some land she will not say where she first met her Delcatty, to rest for eternity where they first met. However, there is a statue of Delcatty in Dark’s house. Sky goes there every day to speak to Delcatty, telling her about the events of the day and Dark.
