Travis Bay
Male/17/Casual wandering trainer (not sure if that's a class, but didn't imagine him as an Ace, Bug Catcher, etc.)
Personality: Travis has always been lazy, and has a habit of falling asleep at a rate that borders on narcolepsy. He'll almost always refuse to do something unless he's either forced to or is personally interested in it, and even then, he rarely gives 100%. He's fairly talented all around, but suffers from his lack of motivation to do anything with his talent. Doesn't have much of an appetite and has simple tastes and pleasures, which is a good thing since he usually doesn't have a lot of money to spare.
Backstory: Travis was born in Blackthorn City, the younger of two sons. He grew up somewhat spoiled by his parents and constantly helpful older brother, all of whom later regretted encouraging his lazy behavior and have since tried to push the lazy teen into finding something he's passionate about.
Appearance: He has hazel eyes and brown hair that's usually messy and in need of a haircut since he's too lazy to tend to it. He's about six feet tall and has a lean figure, and usually dresses in a t-shirt and jeans combo of some sort.
Pokémon:
Slowking: Male, Calm, Often dozes off. Travis was given Slowking in a trade with his older brother, who jokingly said that the Slowpoke reminded him a lot of Travis. Sure enough, the two share a lot of traits, including their laziness and love for sleep. While Slowking is normally idle and lazy, he takes battles seriously and feels responsible for Travis' well-being.
Skarmory: Female, Serious, Capable of taking hits. Skarmory doesn't like her trainer, and likely never will. She loathes his careless attitude and lack of enthusiasm for pretty much anything. However, while she doesn't like her trainer, and couldn't hate his attitude more, she still feels obliged to act in what she believes to be his best interest, which often goes against what her trainer actually wants. She'll often try to pressure or push him into doing something or other.
Donphan: Male, Relaxed, Proud of its power. Donphan likes to tell stories to Travis' other Pokémon, particularly exaggerated stories about outstanding victories of his that may or may not have happened. Although he takes winning very seriously, he doesn't hold grudges against trainers and Pokémon he loses to. He has a "forgive and forget" mentality, with emphasis on the "forget."
