How much you wanna bet Fennekin will win?
Personally I don't really see the fuss over it, it's another fox-based fire type and its design bothers me. Its head is bigger than its body and structurally that just shouldn't work.
Not that there haven't been structurally implausible Pokémon before, and they bother me, too.

I like nearly all of the fire starters, except for Tepig and even it isn't that bad. Cyndaquil is just too cute. I mean, I can't even explain why I like it so much.

That's my problem with Tepig as well. Its a cutey when it isn't evolved, but then it turns into Pignite and Emboar and I just don't like it anymore. All of the other ones end up looking rather cool

I would have chosen Charmander for nostalgia's sake, as it WAS my first starter in FR, but Emboar just gives me more feels. I love little pigs and even though it looses cuteness factor it gains badass factor. Like, I never beat E4 in FR, but I did in Black, all the way to Alder. Also, Emboar is the only natural fire-type that can learn a water attack  |

Emboar can learn Scald by TM.
That little bugger won me third place in a local tournament thanks to it ^^
