“Thank you for coming! We’ll be sure to take good care of your Pokémon! Please come and visit again soon.” With a bow, the green haired boy took the two pok?balls the trainer had given him and walked outside to release them into the enclosure of the daycare. Due to the festivities in Nimbasa at the moment more and more trainers were sending their Pokémon to the daycare to be looked after. Not that Ion minded. It just gave him and the two elder owners of the daycare more work which meant to Ion more money.
Don’t get him wrong, he did what he did because he loved Pokémon but he was 14, living on his own. He needed all the money he could get. He couldn’t go back to the life he once lived his parents had disowned him for his previous job choice.
Looking down, he frowned but then heard the bell connected to the door chime signaling a new customer. Immediately perking up he smiled brightly. “Hello, what can I do for you?”

Flu season was undoubtedly the worst time of the year. The festivals didn't help, either.
Clouseau hadn't been doing well since the snow came; catching a cold in the dead of winter was annual for him. And so, Naoto was forced to take him to the daycare. Having hardly been to a daycare, Naoto was hesitant to put her Pokémon in care of a couple of strangers. However, there were few Pokémon Centers nearby, and most of them were already filled to the brim with other ailing Pokémon and trainers alike; they would just be another burden.
So, trudging through the cold, the lone detective searched for the tiny daycare center. She hadn't the slightest idea where it was located, though she was certain it wasn't anywhere near the obnoxious, vibrant parades and kiosks that clogged the roads and blocked the stars from the sky. Nimbasa always had something going on -- Naoto couldn't stand that.
Eventually, out of breath, she found the dingy little place. It wasn't too far off from the festival, but far enough away that she wouldn't have to participate in the holiday fesitivities. Quietly, the duo slipped into the daycare and came face-to-face with a short, green-haired boy; shorter than her. An large smile was plastered across his face, brightening the beige, chipping wallpaper of the daycare.
Staring straight at the peculiar man, Naoto answered quite curtly. "Naoto Shirogane, a pleasure." She motioned towards her Mightyena, now looking quite somber. Clouseau looked up to the breeder with pitiful eyes, hardly fooling Naoto though definitely more than enough to prompt the daycare to take care of him for a while. He hid partially behind his owner, seemingly afraid of the stranger.
"It's my Mightyena. I believe he's come down with a weak strain of the flu, and being much too occupied to properly attend to him, I've decided to put him in your care. I'll be willing to pay up front, of course." Finishing her introduction, Naoto tipped her hat and waited for the assistant's reply, nudging Clouseau out from behind her.

He didn't care about the money. Taking care of Pokémon was one thing--money for that was one thing--but if this Pokémon was really sick then he had to start treating it immediately even if it was not serious or deadly. Scurrying around the room he went to where he had put his own Pokémon and quickly called out his Togekiss.
"Yulia! Please heal bell!" Of course it would have to be a couple of treatments of heal bell but he was ever so grateful he had taught his dear Yulia that move. Sighing in happiness he turned to the man. "Ah I'm sorry I completely ignored you!" He blushed, bowing quickly.
"I'm Ion. And I'll be taking care of your Mightyena. Pleasure to meet you. And don't worry, you can pay at the end of the treatments to insure that you are satisfied with your Pokémon's level of health."
"B-But I really am sorry about ignoring you at first Mister Naoto." He started twiddling his thumbs. Looking up at him shyly behind his green fringe it suddenly reminded him that he was only 14 and that he was inexperienced when it came to people...
