◆ Baddap Sleed
Personality:
Backstory:
Appearance:
Pokémon:
Male || 17 || Waiter
Personality:
Baddap has the typical militaristic attitude. He's very punctual, precise, and extremely strict on even the most minor of instances. Because of this, his exterior is very cold and intimidating. Very rare is it that he shows any sort of extreme expression such as joy or distress. It is only when things go awry, such as a long-thought out plan, and it cannot be fixed no matter how hard he tries will he show any sort of physical anguish.
Loyalty and respect are both traits taken very seriously by Baddap. If there is an individual whom he deems worthy of his trust, whether it be by a show of courage, or even prowess, he will learn to respect them. When his respect is earned, his once crude treatment to the individual will soften. He will be friendlier to them, in a sense, anyways. As friendly as someone as militaristic as Baddap can be.
Backstory:
Baddap was raised under two hyper-militaristic parents. He's always had a strict schedule to follow every day once he was old enough to think cognitively and understand fully what's right and what's "wrong". He was raised to be the best he could be, and anything less is unforgivable. When he was 10 and allowed his very first Pok?mon (Snivy at the time), his mother invited him to work under her, to help him become stronger in ways no ordinary trainer could undergo.
That was working under Team Plasma.
This was a time when Baddap's grasp of enemy syndicates was null. That was the one thing his parents did not educate him on. He only learned loyalty and obedience towards his superiors, to never question them under any circumstances. He worked as a grunt for a few years despite his starting age, due to the promise of skill his mother praised him for.
A future battle with a trainer ended with exchanges of words. The trainer spoke feverishly with him, refusing to accept defeat. He told Baddap of the evils Team Plasma has been conducting right under his nose. Baddap did not question this in the past, so he never knew what they were really doing. With his guard lowered, he lost the battle. His superiors, shunning his abrupt failure and because of their high expectations of him, discharged him from the team as a whole.
He could not return to his parents after this. How could he? They expected so much of him and to return to his hometown with news of failure would be unforgivable. He forged a new life for himself. Living in Striaton now, he began working as a waiter in the restaurant the leader triplets own. He needed income somehow. Unfortunately, his coldness towards the customers leaves some bad impressions much of the time. He's learned over time how to feign a friendly demeanor. It doesn't always work.
Despite living a "quiet life", his aspirations for strength never faltered. The restaurant is a hotspot for up and coming Pok?mon trainers. He very often challenges them, sometimes winning, other times losing. Between work and rest, he trains and breeds his own Pok?mon in hopes of getting the best possible results from different combinations. He leaves some eggs at the breeder's site when he's either full or satisfied with the results. Much of his team is still young at this point in time. He aspires for the strongest possible team from all his favorites.

Pokémon:
The only Pok?mon he does not battle with is Eevee. She is very fond of him, however Baddap, unsure of what he could do with such a versatile Pok?mon, pays little mind to her aside from basic needs including food, drink, and general affection. She was one of the many Eevee he's bred with the aid of a breeder, the only one whom refused to take shelter with the breeder. Until Baddap is sure of what he will train her to become, he will not allow her to take part in any battle.
None of his Pok?mon have nicknames.
